Tenancy Info

Permitted payments:

Rent: as detailed in your contract

Holding Deposit per tenancy: 1 Weeks Rent

Please Note: The holding deposit will be retained should a tenant (including any guarantor(s)) withdraw from the application/tenancy, provide false or misleading information, fail a Right-to-Rent check or fails to sign their tenancy agreement (and / or Deed of Guarantee) within 15 calendar days (or other Deadline for Agreement as mutually agreed in writing).

Security Deposit per tenancy: 5 Weeks Rent

Unpaid Rent:
A charge of £30 plus VAT will be charged for late rent payments. Additionally, a £10 plus VAT charge will be made on each occasion it is necessary to write to the Tenant regarding Rent arrears

Lost Key(s) or other Security Device(s):
Tenants are liable to the actual cost of replacing any lost key(s) or other security device(s). If the loss results in locks needing to be changed, the actual costs of a locksmith, new lock and replacement keys for the tenant, landlord and any other persons requiring keys will be charged to the tenant.

Changes to the tenancy (Where a Tenant Requests a change):
£40.00 + VAT per agreed variation. To cover the costs for the preparation and execution of new legal documents.

Early Termination (Where a Tenant Requests a change):
Should the tenant wish to leave their contract early, they shall be liable to the landlord’s costs in re-letting the property as well as all rent due under the tenancy until the start date of the replacement tenancy or the expiry of the fixed term, whichever is the sooner. These costs will be no more than the maximum amount of rent outstanding on the tenancy.
